I was with my mom too, just the two of us at the hospice and I kept thinking I had to get up and leave, go somewhere else because it was hard being in the same room with her dying. My sister in fact chose not to be there. She didn't want any part of it. I know that what you did took courage, and I bet that you would do it again if you had the choice. I thought my mother's dying was her final gift to me. She had taught me how to live, and at the end she wanted to teach me how to die. Hi, joe, thanks for the story.
