Susan, I’m dying to know. What’s it like to use one of those gadgets for a few hours? Since the military will have me bouncing around the world for the next 12 years or so, I’ve been giving some serious thought to buying one of these E-Readers.

Is it horrible? Or is it something that one could actually enjoy. I think I’d always prefer a hardback, but damn – I’m getting a little tired of carrying boxes of books up and down stairs. (And I have to constantly monitor my wife’s thrift-store donations!)

(Mr. H still has his film crew and all the bright bright lights in the house, so the dogs are banished to my office – their toenail clicking was messing up the takes – and I am out here with them so they don’t feel like they’re in trouble.)

I’d be missing the feel and smell of paper with such a gadget (yes, I am a fetishist).
Great about the extra LitPark. I have a friend visiting from Estonia this week and she has been pushing me to get an agent. I am still resisting but she offered to edit my stories for grammar (she is a native Engish speaker and teacher) and to offer guidance and advise on the process. How can one refuse such offer?
