UP FROM THE BLUE goes on sale today!

by Susan Henderson on September 21, 2010

It’s finally happened! My book is on sale today! Thank you if you can help spread the word!

Here’s the pretty cover, including the very cool, purple spine:

Here’s a fuzzy shot of the back cover:

And here’s how you can help give this book wings: If you like it, post a review on Amazon or GoodReads. Talk about it on Twitter, FaceBook, or on your blog. Talk it up at your local library, bookstore or book club. And if you don’t like my book, please do these things for one you do like. Word of mouth is what keeps books alive.

If you’re in New York tonight (September 21), we’re celebrating at the Book Revue in Huntington, and then again on Friday (September 24) at the Word bookstore in Brooklyn. Hope to see you there!

And thank you, very sincerely, for all of you who’ve been with me through this whole rollercoaster ride. Your support and friendship has meant the world to me. xo

Congratulations, Susan! I’m so happy for you! UP FROM THE BLUE looks amazing! I ordered a copy on Kindle, but would love to also purchase a signed hardcover or paperback, if you make those available. Will you be doing that? I wish you all the best with your novel. It looks fantastic!

That was one of the nicest, most generous things anyone’s done for me. Thank you.

Thank you seems like to small a thing to express how I feel.

After today, I’m hoping that To Kill a Mockingbird will become my second favorite book.

I hadn’t seen that, but I remember when someone asked me if I wanted to talk about why I liked To Kill a Mockingbird (and of course I did) and then he turned on the camera and he said I was so nervous I was making him nervous!

You do nervous very well.

Aurelio, Thank you! I recommended you for an interview the other day. If someone you don’t know gets in touch, that’s probably the guy I sent. 🙂

Hey, thanks! You’re the best. So far, no unusual inquiries – now I’m all curious…

I’ve just started in on your book now that I have it in my hot little hands. I’m loving it even though parts make my guts tense. Some aspects of the mother in your book are very similar to ills my own step-mom suffered from – interesting, if not a bit creepy… and it’s reading so true!

We need to talk about this next time we’re together.

I’ve been buried in work, but I’m really hoping to do my part for you this weekend on my various blogs, social sites and such. 🙂

I have waited for this book launch ever since reading Motorhead oh so long ago! Can’t wait for my copy to arrive!!!!

Funny thing–the girl on the cover looks exactly like my adorable niece.

Hugs,
