I just finished Up from the Blue and found it absolutely amazing. Your ability to capture the thoughts and feelings of an eight-year-old girl during such a bewildering and sad time was beyond belief. I read the book in one night – at times with tears rolling down my cheeks – because morning wouldn’t have come soon enough if I didn’t.
